Eric Wilkinson

Eric Wilkinson was born January 17, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to his parents Richard and Francis G. Wilkinson. Eric passed away August 8, 2018 at the age of 57.

Eric will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years, Melody, along with his sons , Austin Wilkinson, Max Wilkinson Larue, daughter-in-law Kelly Wilkinson, and adopted grandsons Hayden, and Hunter.

Eric will be remembered as a man with a smile on his face and a contagious  laughter that could light up a room.  Quiet at first, then would talk your ear off when he got to know you.  He was a man that was always there to cheer you up, tell you a good story, and make sure your day was at least a little better when you walked away from him. He was a loyal husband who found the love of his life at eighteen, and never let her go. As a father, he was always there. He found a way to attend every practice, game, and major life event.  Going as far as to become a truck driver to make Austin's games across the country.  He was the jack of all trades, and somehow managed to succeed at them all.  

Eric, the world lost you too soon but you will be remembered, celebrated and deeply missed. BBQ will never taste the same, axes will never be quite as sharp, and the skies will miss your airplanes buzzing by. We promise to carry you with us always, and to try and impact the people around us as profoundly as you have.
